SUMMARY:New Hope Ministry Volunteer Equipping (learning opportunity)
DESCRIPTION:Join our New Hope Ministry community! Our 12 week course will equip our volunteers to serve within New Hope Ministry. We share the DNA of Love INC and how God called us to serve within God’s kingdom. We learn skills such as recognizing and setting safe boundaries and listening skills to help us as we serve and build relationships with our neighbors. We explore some of the different poverty challenges our neighbors may be facing. At certain points during the training\, you will get to interact with our life skills class participants and facilitators in various roles\, to experience how our ministry operates first hand. We meet weekly on Thursdays for 12 weeks\, starting on February 2 ending with graduation on May 11. \nDinner and childcare are provided.
