Sharing New Hope in 2023

Change is hard! Finding a safe community to learn with, share struggles in, and pray with is incredibly important. Love INC’s New Hope Ministry life skills classes offer this, and more, to our community.

Learning opportunities, such as Affirming Potential and Boundaries, help participants learn who they are in God’s eyes and how to build healthy relationships. Fellowship opportunities, such as weekly ‘family’ dinners and the summer picnic, create a community and a safe space for participants and volunteers alike to share struggles and successes. “Love INC is like the family I never had”, shares one class member.

Our churches have been offering New Hope Ministry life skills classes for about six years. This past fall, we put the ministry on pause, taking the semester off to pray and evaluate where God is leading us in the future. Through prayer and the guidance of our Vision team, we are rolling out enhancements to further develop transformative relationships between volunteers from our partner churches and those participating in the life skills classes.

Please join us in praying for our New Hope Ministry community as over 40 volunteers and participants from about a dozen churches gather each Thursday night at First Presbyterian in Waukegan. To God be the Glory!
